Red Phoenix Rewilding brings two decades of land care experience to your project.
Working with domestic gardens or larger smallholdings, our team bring a practical skillset infused with a love for wildlife and biodiversity, always putting nature fist. We design and we build. We create and we nurture. Always looking to increase the wildness in your space. We have worked with hundreds of clients in the UK and overseas and welcome new clients for inspiring projects! |
Food growingWe have extensive experience working on vegetable gardens and allotments. This is one of our core passions - supporting you to grow more food and live more wildly!
We build raised beds and can add terraces, steps, potting sheds, composting, and other carpentry requirements. We can do the mundane weeding and bed preparation, adding natural soil improvements where needed. We use organic principles that are synthetic-chemical free. Our background is in permaculture with a flair for natural pest management, no-dig and companion planting. We also offer design and advice as well as run workshops and training events for individuals, groups, and allotment associations. |
rewildingAt Red Phoenix we want to create a wilder world. Our work is focused on creating more wild spaces so that all of life can flourish. More biodiversity. More wildlife. More abundance. More colour, textures and smells for our enjoyment.
Rewilding is not about letting brambles and nettles take over. Rather, it is an intelligent and careful ecosystem approach that puts nature first. |
land careTo create wilder landscapes and gardens, we bring practical skills (see box) and over 20 years experience of landcare. We believe that rewilding is an urgent need for our planet and thus requires active landscaping (wildscaping?) intervention.
|
people carePart of our rewilding emphasis is about creating spaces where our clients can enjoy fresh air and natural beauty. To get outside more and feel more connected to the elements. We know this is good for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Sam is an absolute pleasure to do business with; warm and friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. He took time to really connect with my garden and listen to what I was wanting...
Julie, Croscombe |
The shed you built was brilliant for keeping our plants over winter - they all survived. Thank you for your help in getting it all started, we'd have had much less production this year without your input.
Pippa, North Bradley |
What most impressed me are his listening skills to my personal needs and wishes for my garden space and how he took this knowledge and aligned it...I most definitely recommend Sam's services.

When choosing the tools for Red Phoenix, we made a conscious effort to select tools that were most closely resonant with our nature-first values. To this end, we have rejected noisy petrol-based power tools and our entire range is electric. Our batteries are charged by renewable energy.
Our range of tools have half the noise levels of their petrol-based equivalents. We chose this to ensure minimal disturbance to wildlife and for the wellbeing of our team, for our customers, and for neighbours. Until electric pick-up trucks are more accessible in the UK, we have selected a vehicle with lowest-in-class emissions. We have also chosen biodegradable oil for our chainsaws. Our quiet(er) tools mean we are better equipped to work in nature-sensitive areas or in gardens close to schools, care homes and other places where minimal disturbance is preferred. |
