Rewilding soil and soul

Red Phoenix Rewilding was created by Sam Adams in response to two decades of experience in the fields of land care, permaculture, and mental health. Launched at the start of 2022, we have grown from strength to strength, serving our customers across the south of the UK in their desire to be more wild. 

The name Red Phoenix speaks to the danger and urgency of our climate and the wellbeing of our own species. It speaks to the need for a response that is assertive and strong. The phoenix speaks of new life out of the ashes, a personal metaphor for Sam as well as a broader statement on our modern 'disease' of isolation and disconnection.

Our mission is to create a more connected world, through rewilding ourselves and the planet.  

Insurance and safety

Insurance
We have one million in public liability insurance, which protects you in case of any accidents. We also have ten million in employer's liability insurance.

Outdoor First Aid
We are Level 3 first aid certified with a focus on outdoor scenarios and risk management.

Certification
For our work with chainsaws and wood chippers, we have professional 'tickets' from both City and Guilds and from Lantra. 

Membership and qualifications

We are members of the RSPB and enjoy contributing to (and visiting!) their sites around the UK. We are talking with Rewilding Britain about becoming a corporate partners and giving a share of our profits to their inspiring rewilding efforts across the country.
